Dota 2 is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game (MOBA), developed by Valve Corporation, available on platforms; Microsoft Windows, macOS, GeForce Now, Linux, and Classic Mac OS. Dota 2 is played by two teams consisting of 5 players against each other. Each of them independently controls the powerful and incredible characters called Heroes. Players are granted with experience points and items for their Hero with each successful battle.

Dota 2 is a furiously amazing game that keeps on bringing new elements with recent updates, but it’s not the only kind in this eSports universe. There is a number of video games available on PC, XBOX, and PlayStation that share a common Genre with Dota 2.

3. Strife

Strife is a first-person shooter role-playing video game developed by Rogue Entertainment. Dota 2 is played against the team, while the Strife involves combat with the Order’s infantry and war robots.

As usual, the protagonist begins with limited power and ends up being the strongest. Players are asked to continue to an extent where most of the powerful weapons are in hand and the world is at its knees.

The game begins when the world is dominated by a virus bought by a comet. The virus has infected the world. Millions of people died and some victims managed to mutate and began to hear some godly voices. They form an organization called The Order which starts to enslave others.

The protagonist and his organization The Front challenges The Order’s reign.

2. SMITE

Smite is a 2014 free-to-play, third-person multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Hi-Rez Studios for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Amazon Luna.

The SMITE has a unique gameplay style in itself. Players need to select a god to play as. Characters then are classified as Assassin, Guardian, Hunter, Mage, or Warrior. In short, in this game, the players control or act as a god, goddesses, or other mythological figures and control their actions.

The game has many unique modes which include player versus player (PVP), customs, Training (vs AI), Custom, Co-Op (with clan/friends), and Normal and Ranked play styles. Characters use their special abilities to fight against the other player-controlled gods, and even with non-playing characters (NPC).

1. AirMech Strike

AirMech is a free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Carbon Games for Microsoft Windows and Android.

AirMech includes the transforming mechanisms of the weapon vehicles that can fly above and clash on land as well. The game goes on when the players control AirMech to fulfill the goal assigned to it by mode.

The game allows players to even build their own fleet and participate in the battle. The main objective of the game is secure own fortress, destroy enemy fortresses, and fortify Outposts. Outposts are the most crucial elements in the game as the AirMech can only be healed here.

The Game mentioned above shares common ground of Genre with Dota 2, with some unique additions. Likewise, STRIFE includes fighting against the robots and machines, SMITE includes fighting against deities, while the AirMech is an air-attack-based game.
