Dota 2: All December 2022 updates of the Game

December 2022 was not the month of significant updates compared to previous months. In Dota 2 November 2022 officially received a gameplay 7.32d patch, bringing a huge number of changes to the game. Meanwhile, December bought some general changes for 2 consecutive updates and some fixes for Wintry Treasure in the third one.

Apart from the balance updates, Dota 2 introduced Collector’s cache II and Battle Level Bundle.

General Updates of December 2022 in Dota 2

General Update of 10th December

The update was mainly focused on the general instruments, which didn’t introduce any new mechanisms. In the official note from Valve Corporation – the developers of Dota 2, there were just 5 key highlights, which too were balanced changes.

There is no doubt that the small balances enhance gameplay in games like Dota 2, but players expect new mechanisms with every update.

Dota 2: General Update of 23rd December

As the first update was within 10 days of the start of the month, the next update took almost 13 more days but these changes too were mere balance changes. The developers released a big list of changes but mentions no big introductions.

Dota 2: General fixes for Wintry Treasure

Actually, the reason behind the introduction of the changes was that the recently introduced Wintry Treasure unintentionally used already shipped sets. The update changed Lifestealer Cold Rage set to a second style on the Obsidian Atrocity set, and The Night Stalker Harvest Night set was replaced with the existing Frightful Revelries set.

Diretide 2022 Collector’s Cache II

As the Collector’s Cache-I was introduced way back in November 2022, the December saw the inception of second round of quest treasure. However, the quests are not free, they charge $2.49 for each. Collectors Cache I and II are available till January 12, 2023.

The items in the quest are solely for owners use as they are not tradeble

The Diretide 2022 Battle Level Bundle

The second Battle Level Bundle was made live on sale for $29.99 per bundle, available on sale till 12th January. Eventhough it seems little expensive, the bundle provided huge discount of 75% for its users. The Battle Level Bundle includes:

  • 120 Battle Levels
  • 9x Immortal Treasure I
  • 6x Immortal Treasure II
  • 6x Ageless Heirlooms Treasures
  • 6x Battle Pass Collection Treasures

Dota 2 is a 2013 multiplayer online battle arena video game by Valve, which introduced mere balance changes making it easier for player to deal with in-game working, but is likely to involve major system update in upcoming months.
