SteelSeries Sponsors The International 2023 Cosplay Competition

Valve and PGL announced that SteelSeries has been named the official sponsor of The International 2023 Cosplay Competition.

“The Dota 2 cosplay community will once again showcase their incredible talent by blowing fans away with their amazing, unique costume designs. The International 2023 Cosplay Competition invites all cosplayers to craft their best possible Dota-themed costumes ahead of The International 2023 in Seattle next month,” PGL said in an announcement.

“We’re excited to be collaborating with @SteelSeries at The International 2023’s Cosplay Competition in Seattle next month. They’ll help judge Dota’s top cosplayers and hand out some of the biggest prizes yet, including tons of gear and a $20K prize pool,” Valve said on social media.

The cosplay competition encourages cosplayers to show up with their Dota 2-themed outfits in Seattle, WA during the biggest Dota 2 tournament of the year, arguably the biggest esports event year in and year out.

The competition boasts a $20,000 prize pool. The breakdown, per PGL, is as follows:

• Best In Show Award = $5,000 + Full set of SteelSeries Gear + 2 General Admission Tickets
• Best Technique Award = $3,000 + Full set of SteelSeries Gear + 2 General Admission Tickets
• Biggest Transformation Award = $3,000 + Full set of SteelSeries Gear + 2 General Admission Tickets
• Judges’ Choice Award = $3,000 + Full set of SteelSeries Gear + 2 General Admission Tickets
• 6 Runners Up = $1,000 + SteelSeries Headset + 2 General Admission Tickets

How to Register for The International 2023 Cosplay Competition

Cosplayers can head to the link here to register for the competition. Participating contestants will not need to be event ticket holders. The deadline for registration is set at Oct. 1 at 23:59 (Chicago Time).
