23. Nature’s Prophet

Nature’s Prophet is a character who easily gets his economy rolling, and makes your life miserable all the while. Long range disables to interrupt his TP will ruin his day. Smack him with burst damage and put the fear of God in him so he thinks twice about porting in for a gank.

Hero counters: we like to fight NP with carry heroes like Spectre, Outworld Devourer, Lycan, Storm Spirit, and Sniper. Centaur, Lina, and Crystal Maiden are utility plays we’ve had work out for us in the past.

Item counters: Quelling Blade and Force Staff are effective ways of negating Sprout, and QB can be built into Battle Fury or Iron Talon later on. Dagon’s great for the burst.
