Medium creep offer a little more resistance than the smalls, but for your trouble you’ll receive around 100 gold and 180 exp per camp. The kinds of creep you’ll find hanging around medium camps include centaurs, wolves, satyrs, ogres, and golems.
I’ve indicated the medium camps with orange diamonds below.
Still hungry? Help yourself!
The medium creep, being a little beefier than the small ones, have some of the better abilities that you can steal with your Devour skill. The tastiest medium creep in this bunch are the Alpha Wolf (sick aura, there), Satyr Banisher, Ogre Frostmage, and Mud Golem.
If you’re wondering what else is available for consumption off the medium creep platter, check out the details below.
Whoa, you must be really hungry. Large creep yield an average of 125 gold and 213 exp for each camp. Not too shabby for clearing a creep camp. Large camps are populated with centaurs, satyrs, hell bears, wildwings, and trolls. Sounds like a meal with some fight to it!
Large creep camps are marked with red diamonds.
If this doesn’t satisfy your hunger, nothing will
Our two favorite targets for Devour in large creep camps are the Satyr Tormentor and Dark Troll Summoner. The Hellbear Smasher can also be useful, but I recommend getting the hang of the timing of his Thunder Clap ability. It’s cast time can make it tricky to land this ability, though when you do, it can make the difference between a kill and a hero escaping.
Here’s the analysis of large creep skills and their details.
Go forth and be great, young doombringer
The difference between playing good DOTA and just playing DOTA is that good DOTA requires you to get the most out of your abilities and time. Every moment in game should be spent trying to get a gold advantage, exp advantage, and/or positional advantage. If you’re not constantly working to give yourself an edge, you’ll be at a disadvantage.
I hope our guide to Devour helps you in your Doom games.
