10. Venomancer

Lasale the Venomancer is one ugly customer. And I’m not just talking about his face, though it’s true he’s hideous. His Poison Sting ability allows him to hawk loogies so toxic it’ll make you regret being born alive. Early game items you should consider on Veno include Wand and Ring of Aquila. A blink dagger can make an already deadly ult even deadlier.

High winrate items on Veno:

  • Octarine Core (73.78%)
  • Guardian Greaves (69.81%)
  • Eye of Skadi (69.62%)
  • Butterfly (67.85%)
  • Manta Style (64.37%)
  • Pipe of Insight (63.32%)
  • Silver Edge (62.74%)

9. Treant Protector

Rooftrellen the Treant Protector spent the majority of his sapling days learning mastering the skills of being a thorn in the side of his enemies. He’s one of my favorite supports in the game, able to come through in a pinch with the invis of Nature’s Guise, he can buff regen and armor with Living Armor, and he can both nuke and heal with Leech Seed. A Bracer and Wand can give him extra staying power early in the game. Aura items, like Drums, Cuirass, and Vlad’s.

High winrate items on Treant:

  • Octarine Core (75.56%)
  • Shiva’s Guard (75.09%)
  • Guardian Greaves (71.32)
  • Assault Cuirass (71.01%)
  • Refresher Orb (71.00%)
  • Heart of the Tarrasque (70.46%)
  • Radiance (69.28%)

8. Shadow Demon

A rise in the popularity of Shadow Demon has been seen this TI6 season. Disruption has proved to be a powerful method of hero control in teamfights, and he’s an absolute thug on the high ground. Early game he can benefit from a Null Talisman, Wand, and Force Staff. Situationally, Glimmer Cape and Atos can also work well.

High winrate items on Shadow Demon:

  • Guardian Greaves (63.86%)
  • Scythe of Vyse (63.25%)
  • Necronomicon (61.29%)
  • Aghanim’s Scepter (59.47%)
  • Pipe of Insight (57.17%)
  • Aether Lens (54.40%)
  • Eul’s (52.50%)

7. Elder Titan

Elder Titan is another favorite in top tier games. His durability, initiating potential, and disables make him a pretty savage support. Ring of Health, Wand, and Drums are earlier game items you might want to equip him with when playing. Though not listed below, Halberd and Black King Bar should not be discounted as options for his late game inventory.

High winrate items on Elder Titan:

  • Shiva’s Guard  (75.30%)
  • Guardian Greaves (72.85%)
  • Assault Cuirass (71.82%)
  • Refresher Orb (66.70%)
  • Aghanim’s Scepter (66.29%)
  • Pipe of Insight (64.51%)
  • Crimson Guard (62.56%)

6. Ogre Magi

It’s been said that two heads are better than one, and if Ogre’s two heads are the reason for Multicast, I’d say that’s pretty good proof for that proverb. Ogre can have difficulty sustaining enough mana early game, so some mana potions and Wand are common on him early game.

High winrate items on Ogre:

  • Octarine Core (74.65%)
  • Shiva’s Guard (72.97%)
  • Bloodstone (71.21%)
  • Guardian Greaves (69.38%)
  • Scythe of Vyse (67.25%)
  • Pipe of Insight (62.38%)
  • Aghanim’s Scepter (62.32%)
